Childline Zimbabwe works in partnership with the Government to STOP child abuse and provide a safe environment for all children. We offer the only nationwide helpline service dedicated to children that runs 24 hours toll free, and is accessible by simply dialing 116. We are a not-for-profit, registered Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO 7/2001). Children (0-18years), access services in Zimbabwe regardless of religious background, socio-economic circumstances or geographic location.

Drop In Centres

Child-friendly, confidential face-to-face counseling is offered to children and community members at the Childline Drop-in Centres. Childline operates 34 community-based Drop-in Centres across Zimbabwe to enable those children without access to a phone to access Childline’s confidential counseling and psychosocial support services (PSS). These centres are operated by qualified Social Workers or Counsellors and are supported by trained community volunteer counselors
