Template:Austlocalgovtarea Brewarrina Council is a local government area in the North West Slopes region of New South Wales, Australia. It is on the Macquarie River and the Mitchell and Oxley Highways. It is a wool and cotton growing area.

Brewarrina Shire includes Brewarrina and the villages of Gongolgon, Angledoo and Goodooga and the ghost town of Tarcoon.
