Emily Carr
Emily Carr (1871–1945) was a Canadian artist and writer, one of the first painters in Canada to adopt a Modernist and Post-Impressionist style. She received widespread recognition for her work when she changed from Aboriginal themes to landscapes, forest scenes in particular.Painting credit: Emily Carr
