The Ulaanbaatar Department Store (Mongolian: Улаанбаатар Их Дэлгүүр) is one of the largest and most well-known shopping centers in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

History

The department store was officially opened in 1982.

During Mongolia’s transition to a market economy in the 1990s, the Ulaanbaatar Department Store became a joint-stock company. In 2009, it was fully privatized. The new building opened in January 2010.
