Nicole Scherzinger has urged Hannah Barrett's fans to vote for her next week.
The X Factor judge said on The Xtra Factor that she thinks the 17-year-old's followers assumed she was safe and didn't bother picking up the phone.
"Hopefully it's just because people are really big fans of her and thought she was safe and that they didn't need to vote for her. Hopefully we won't see this happen again," she said.
"It happened with James [Arthur last year]. However, it happened a lot later. I'm not happy that it happened this early on.
"I don't understand. But she was gorgeous [in the sing-off]. She just shines. She didn't overdo anything. She was just honest up there."
Barrett found herself in the sing-off on tonight's (October 27) results show, but was saved by the judges as Miss Dynamix were sent home.
