Making amends

Herbert Marshall is the guest star and head of a settlement in Arizona Territory called New Bethlehem. It's a religious community and it's about to cast out Edward Binns who married Ruta Lee one of the girls from the town.

A stranger Britt Lomond arrives in town with a list of people he felt he wronged from Andersonville where he was a guard. Now he's making amends.

I won't go any further other than this is one muddled story with very confusing characters. I think all the players look rather stupid here.

Dick Powell, couldn't you do better for Herbert Marshall and the rest?
