We were left penniless suddenly and my mother, who was a homemaker, had to figure out how to make ends meet. I had to drop out of school. Fortunately for me, one of my teachers helped me apply for a scholarship on the Vi Scholarship portal. After the scholarship was awarded, I went back to my school. The scholarship not only brought me back to school, but also helped me get back to the activities I loved, such as making models on science concepts and showcasing them in science exhibitions.”

Our teacher was taking classes on mobile phones, but my parents could not provide me a phone and I had to borrow it sometimes from neighbours which was causing delay and many times I had to miss my class since the phone was not available.
