We’re delighted to announce that our long-standing partners PETRONAS have signed the second sales and purchase agreement (SPA) for our lower-carbon Ruwais LNG project. The 15-year SPA – converted from a previous Heads of Agreement – is for the supply of 1 million tonnes of LNG a year. To date, over 8 million tonnes of the project’s production capacity has been committed to international customers. ADNOC Gas is expected to acquire ADNOC’s 60% stake of the Ruwais LNG project at cost, estimated at around $5 billion, in the second half of 2028.
