This is an extraordinary Russian Art Nouveau, Belle Epoque Rose Cut Diamond Ring in a Flower Clover motif of great beauty. The Rose Cut Diamonds are set in 14 Karat Rose and White Gold. The Rose Cut Diamonds sparkle with the radiance of the fabulous antique diamonds. The Russian Art Nouveau rings have the most wonderful unique shapes and designs. I just love them. This is one of the most beautiful with the diamonds set in a trefoil flower or clover motif in a crossover design. In the center of the ring is a ribbon of white gold further set with Rose Cut Diamonds. The Art Nouveau jewels found their inspiration in the curving forms of nature. This jewel is a delicate, romantic masterpiece of the Art Nouveau period. It is rare to find Art Nouveau rings set throughout with Rose Cut Diamonds and we are thrilled to have found this gorgeous piece. The ring dates to circa 1860 - 1910. The rose cut diamonds in the flowers average 3.5mm in diameter, and are approximately .15 Carats each. The top of the ring is 20mm long and the flowers are 8mm wide. The ring is currently a size 8.25 US (Q 1/2 UK) and can be easily resized if desired. There appears to be a small diamond missing from the central band of diamonds as well as a tiny casting flaw in the band. This is almost impossible to see without a jewelers loop. We have chosen to keep the ring in its authentic period condition. The ring weighs 4.4 grams.
