Paper Fortune Teller: Mindfulness Practice for Kids
This foldable fortune teller is a fun and engaging way to prompt mindfulness practice with kids. Engage in body stretches, deep breathing, and sensory exploration while meditating on kindness, forgiveness, and gratitude. Encourage kids to practice on their own or with their friends and family! Visit Child Therapy Guide to explore our collection of MINDFULNESS ACTIVITIES and BOOKS ABOUT MINDFULNESS.
Wemberly Worried Activities
We love these fun activities for the book Wemberly Worried. Actually, we love author Kevin Henkes and all his relatable characters... Lilly, Owen, Chrysanthemum, and, of course, Wemberly. Most kids can find themselves in at least one of his stories, if not more. Making your own worry dolls is a fun way to follow up the read-aloud, but traditional worry dolls are small and a little challenging for tiny hands to make. We love this chunkier version that uses pipe cleaners and pony beads. Come see!
