Each item is individually placed on our MIKUKUMI leather card & cotton pouch. *IMPORTANT NOTE* The model is wearing 16 inches but since each person's body composition is unique, the necklace length that the model is wearing won't be a good indication that it will work the same way for you. Please note that since this necklace is hand cut and custom made per order, they are non returnable and non refundable, unless there is a defect. And for the same reasons, you should get a necklace that fits you perfectly. How to measure your perfect necklace? A. If you already have a necklace that fits you perfectly, you can simply use it as a reference. Don't assume its length since many times its not 100% accurate. Please measure it using the steps below: 1. Unclasp the chain and lay it out straight. Make it as straight as possible, lay it out on a table or flat surface so that it will be easy to measure. 2. Measure the length with a ruler or tape measure. Extend the tape measure from one end of the chain to the other. Do not forget the clasp in your measurement. The complete chain, including the clasp, should be measured because that is what determines how long it hangs. 3. Note the length and let us know. Odd length is perfectly fine. B. If you don't have one as a reference, you can follow these steps to ensure you get a perfect fit: 1. Take a piece of string (dental floss works too). 2. Wrap the string around your neck to simulate your preferred necklace length and mark the other end with precision. 3. Remove the string and measure the length to from one end to the mark using a ruler. 4. Note the length and let us know. Odd length is perfectly fine.
