The 1964 Dodge 330 Limited Edition, purchased by police in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, is famous for its dark history. The police officers who used it suffered personal tragedies, and after it was auctioned off, the new owners also suffered misfortune. The story gained notoriety after the publication of Stephen King's book Christine. Although it was dismantled and rebuilt, the car is said to still exhibit strange phenomena, such as doors that open by themselves.
