Allows you to easily route a zip-tie around something in the hook, such as brake and shift hoses and housings. Based on an original design from someone in Trek several years ago, updated to be stronger and more functional. Trek's Control Freak cable routing has a small window in the down tube of the bike, and if you can collect the hoses and housings together into the hook of this tool, you can then push a zip-tie through the channel, around the housings, and back out the access port. This could also be useful on any internally routed bike where you can't loop a zip-tie the usual way. I stock orange and black, and it's available in all of the colors, but since those are print to order, there's a small upcharge. Now also available in carbon fiber reinforced ASA (similar to ABS) for maximum durability if you want. My own version is the standard PETG and it's fine, but the stronger CF ASA option is there. History: I created this after seeing it in a photo posted by David N. of Trek Bikes in Chattanooga, and worked with him to duplicate the original. I then discovered that this tool was the thing that got Dave Rome (Instagram bike tool legend @romeandstuff) into 3D printing. After posting about it on Instagram, I was put in touch with Mitch Plout of Trek who was the person who created the original. Glad to finally be able to give credit to the original author!
