Antique Japanese mizuya or kitchen tansu Made of solid cedar with black painted brass door pulls Circa 1900 There are four shelves in the middle of the cabinet, two of these shelves remove if needed.
There's lots of room for storage and doesn't have to be used in the kitchen alone.
The interior retains the original bamboo features and shelf.

One of the bottom drawer is lined with galvanized steel to be used as an ice drawer.
The cabinet is in very good all original condition.
The cedar is unfinished, all natural.
All in all its a simple and beautiful piece.
