French Edwardian Lace & Embroidery Blouse ja 3052105 Beautiful French white embroidery lace blouse from the early 1900s, Edwardian period. Delicate and airy cotton batiste has delicate lace accent at the front and around the collar (hand done). Amazing white on white embroidery design with tiny tuck seams...very well done. Tiny mother of pearl button closure at the back. Short sleeves with cuff end. The fabric is light, delicate and sheer, best worn with a camisole. Measuring; 34" bust (from under arms across) 40" waist 13" shoulder seams across 20.5" length Sleeve length 7" (from under arms) Please check all measurements well. A delicate piece that has held up nicely for over 100 years. If you look close you will undoubtedly find signs of the passage of time although the condition is pretty amazing. One button is missing and it needs a small sew repair in a seam near underarm, about 2" opening in a seam. We are selling as is.
