Pine Needle Basket

This ia a hand made one of a kind basket made by me, from coils of Longleaf Pine Needles which are stitched together with wax coated thread. The center was turned on my lathe from East India Rosewood, and has green and purple hues in bright lighting. The stitching used is very time-consuming, and this basket took 5 days to create. An excellent decoration for your home that could certainly be used for special occasions to serve bread or simple food.
