This is a truly wonderful, antique, engraved, open-face, "Father Time" Pocket Watch by Elgin National Watch Co., made in 1900. As seen in our photos, the glass crystal is cracked. And the watch winds, but we can't get it to click over and run (we are not repairers). But as you can also see in our photos, it is otherwise in beautiful condition inside and out, no decay or other damage. It features a separate dial for seconds, and heat-blued steel minute and hour hands. The die-engraved floral and bird design on the back is lovely, and the internal design, details, and quality are exquisite. -"Elgin" maker's name on watch face -Grade 252 -Model 7 -Dimensions: 2 1/8" across, 3" long including winding crown and bow -Black, Roman numeral hour numbers with red minute numbers around edge -Gold Filled -Estimated Production Year: 1900 -Size 18s -Jewels: 21j -Jewel Material: Ruby -Jewel Setting: Gold Settings (Screw-Set) -Movement Finish: Nickel -Movement Setting: Lever -Plate: Full Plate All of our items are vintage or antique and are sold As Is.
