ANTIQUE well carved Victorian cameo brooch pendant set in a handmade gold toned setting. Pin stem clasp and necklace looks to have been added with a safety clasp. I think this cameo may have been part of a bracelet or a larger piece that was converted into a brooch, pendant. The findings on the back are very high quality. The cameo is in good condition with smooth carving. No cracks or noticed missing pieces to the cameo. -genuine antique cameo -pin system works -about 1 1/2 inch long by 1 1/8 inches wide -the metal is untested, it could be gold or gold filled. There are not signs of plate wear showing an alternate metal beneath. The price reflects the unknown metal content.
