We covered the slanted part with underlay & continued the same flooring up the wall - the edges of the flooring where it meets wall and floor are beveled just because we are extra but you dont have to do that part! The shelves are like stairs - and hold a lot of shoes!! Or whatever! Or put baskets on the shelves for toys, etc. works fantastic!!”
