It fills the voided space between your sofa and wall and makes it a usable space with a beautiful wood table. The electric outlet is great because it eliminates the need to reach in awkward areas to find a wall outlet. Simply plug in the 3 prong cord into and existing wall outlet and the powered table console is ready to go! You will have to assemble the unit which will be easy to do. I will include instructions, a screw driver, and all necessary screws. The narrow sofa table will be assembled by me before it ships to ensure quality control during my building process. All of the necessary pocket holes which will hide any visible screws will be drilled by me in the wood shop.
