Each ceramic, stoneware wild flower bud vase is handmade separately in my garden studio. This delightful bud vase can hold faux or real flowers and is perfect for adding an accent of flowers to your coffee table, window sill or shelf. It's small size is ideal for a compact space that needs a small finishing touch. This item is an ideal gift for a friend or loved one or indeed a gift for yourself. The decorative design is created by pressing local wild flowers (cow parsley) into the soft clay. Once the vase is fired I paint all over the vase with a dark teal underglaze and wipe it off to reveal the coloured textures/patterns of the plants. It is then dipped into a transparent glaze and fired again. Size: Height 10cm, bottom diameter 7cm, top diameter 4cm All my ceramic work is handmade and variation of flower and pattern placement may occur due to the uniqueness of the processes involved. The vase you will purchase will not be the exact one in the photo as every item is handmade with variously picked cow parsley flowers thus utterly unique. This vase has been so popular I am now having to give myself time after Christmas to replenish my stock ready for new orders to be dispatched by late January.
