First thing : The pic in the 1st block & thumbnail are the non-adjusted photos of this necklace. Most of the other pics have some adjustments in my attempts to display the linkage of this unusual piece. I did need to clean this extensively because originating in the 1930s caused color changes. It has also been acid tested several times & it is silver. Of course acid testing does not give much indication of quality of the silver. The necklace is not marked & has no clasp, it is over the head. So unless one is a huge giant, 32"L should be easy to put on. I did see a few necklaces of this linkage - one being the same length. However, it was listed as silver plated & weighed only 50 some grams. The piece I am showing weighs 114g, so they cannot be the same. The price will reflect current value of silver & as I read, the metals are predicted to almost double in the very near future. Then again, who knows what's coming...?
