One contoured saucer fascinator / hat base with a modified upturned brim in light purple sinamay straw that measures approximately 9.5" (24.13 cm). The base is contoured to fit against the head. The edges of the brim are finished in wired sinamay. The multi-layer stiffened sinamay straw has a great sturdy weave and provides excellent support for your millinery creations. NOTE: This is NOT a finished hat and will not stay on your head unless you add a head band or clips to wear. This base does have a small sleeve sewn into the crown that will accomodate a narrow headband or an alligator clip - listed separately in my shop. Add embellishments of your choice. Sinamay is a natural material and you may see some color striations in the weave. This is not a defect, but is the result of how different natural fibers respond to dye.
