This period piece white cotton ladies dress is just amazing -- it dates from 1800s or early 1900s -- and in amazing condition. It's so beautiful and so feminine like many period piece ladies clothes. A different era indeed! Despite being an Edwardian / Victorian / Regency eras garment, it's still a very wearable design style today. Classic! The dress closes in the front with hook & eye closures. The bodice and collar have exquisite white on white floral embroidery. The long skirt has three panel borders of lace. The skirt isn't poofy but has volume so the wearer can comfortably walk and move in it. For a historical garment, this is still quite a wearable piece. It's somewhat sheer so please consider underthings when calculating fit on you. It would also be lovely as a home / shop decoration hung on a wall or dressed on a tailor's dummy. Great for anyone but especially fashion lovers of Cottagecore / Shabby Chic / Edwardian / Victorian / Regency / Steampunk / Vampires Wife / Bridgerton / Period fashion.
