Enamelling is an art of decoration metal surfaces to create colourful and amazing designs. It's a very old and laborious technique. 🛠 The desired pattern is made on a silver basis with the help of thin fine silver wires or strips which form the cloisons. Enamel of different colours is poured into the made gaps. The prefabricated item is put into the kiln, where the enamel melts and gains a glassy surface. To achieve better hardiness, the item is processed 3-4 times in the temperature of 800-900oC. Lastly, the piece of art is polished until its surface gets a glossy brilliant look.
