Made to order This piece is made from wood harvested from fell trees in Iowa and South Dakota. The colored slices are arranged in the shape of a swirl in a mosaic fashion. They were colored using a watered down latex paint as a stain. The other wood slices were finished using mineral oil to highlight the interesting growth rings and grain patterns and let their natural beauty be on display.
