This is a beautiful antique mourning ring set in 18ct gold and dated from the Edwardian period. With woven hair covering the shank, interspersed with the letters MEMORY and a gold heart right in the centre with the initials A.P engraved on it. It's in very good condition with minor wear commensurate with age - there is some small engraving loss in the square of letter Y (as seen in photo). Crafted in solid 18ct gold, it has acquired a wonderful patina to it. Size: P/US7.5 (not resizable) Fully hallmarked, Birmingham Assay, 18ct, 1901 A poignant piece of history, this beautiful mourning ring would make a wonderful addition to your collection.
