Who Can Attend CACC:
The conference is conducted for the sole purpose of providing specialized training to only those currently employed in various critical fields involved in crimes against children such as law enforcement, prosecution, child protective services, probation, and parole. The conference reserves the right to decline admittance to any individual or organization at its sole discretion.

Please see important details below to ensure you receive your final conference certificate reflecting your participation at the conference and correct number of credit hours.
A unique verification code will be provided at the end of each 75-minute block of instruction by the presenter. This will be your only opportunity to receive the code so be sure you record it exactly as provided.
The verification code is required to “unlock” the evaluation for each session.
Evaluations will be completed on the conference app or the conference website by logging in using the email address used to register for the conference along with your unique conference registration confirmation number.
You must be logged into your account on the conference app or website. Accounts cannot be shared.
Substitutions: Attendees who are attending in place of another should never sign in as the other person. Make sure YOUR NAME is in the system correctly.
Failure to use your own login credentials will result in another person’s name on “your” certificate. This is irreversible if evaluations have been started in the incorrect name.
You must complete a session evaluation for each 75-minute block of instruction attended for the course and course hours to be added to the total hours displayed on your final conference certificate.
Two-part presentations will require two evaluations: one evaluation for Part 1 and another evaluation for Part 2.
Repeated sessions will each have a different unique verification code.
You must also complete the overall post-event feedback survey after all session evaluations have been completed before you can print your final conference certificate.
Your access to the evaluations and certificates closes on September 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT. After this time, you will no longer have access to complete evaluations or print your certificate. Conference staff will not have access to assist you after this date. No exceptions.
All continuing education credit is self-reported. The conference does not submit continuing education credits on behalf of any attendee.
Service Animals:
Although the Sheraton is a pet-friendly hotel, the conference is not. With respect to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), no animals are allowed on the premises unless they are recognized service animals as defined by the ADA. A service animal is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks directly related to the functional limitations of a person’s disability. Emotional support or comfort dogs are not covered under ADA because providing emotional support or comfort is not a task related to a person’s disability.
Guests accompanied by service animals are responsible for ensuring that the animal is under control at all times and does not pose a threat or disturbance to others. If a service animal is not under control or poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others, we reserve the right to ask the individual to remove the animal from the premises.
IMPROPER USE OF ASSISTANCE AND SERVICE ANIMALS; OFFENSE. (a) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally or knowingly represents that an animal is an assistance animal or a service animal when the animal is not specially trained or equipped to help a person with a disability. An offense under this subsection is a misdemeanor punishable by:
(1)a fine of not more than $1,000; and
(2)30 hours of community service to be performed for a governmental entity or nonprofit organization that primarily serves persons with visual impairments or other disabilities, or for another entity or organization at the discretion of the court, to be completed in not more than one year.
Children Policy
Due to the nature of our content, children are not permitted in the conference center, workshop sessions, or any other official conference areas. Exceptions will not be made, and we ask all attendees to make appropriate childcare arrangements prior to the event.
Smoke Free Policy:
The Sheraton Dallas has a smoke free policy to prohibit the use of cigarettes and vaping in both guest rooms and meeting space.
Failure to comply will result in fines and/or removal from the hotel.
