This week, I climbed the sub-summit of the Mittaghorn in Saas Fee with Kevin Puylaert, one of our inspiring leaders, whose focus and determination reflect the spirit of our team. It was a moment with profound personal meaning — one I couldn’t have imagined just months ago. Between March and April this year, I underwent four emergency spine surgeries. Recovery has been gradual and sometimes unpredictable. My leg still isn’t fully healthy, and there were days when even walking felt impossible. Yet, step by step, I moved forward. Resilience doesn't lie in controlling every outcome. It’s about accepting what cannot be changed and focusing on purposeful actions in the present. This climb reminded me of the challenges 2024 has brought, both personally and professionally. For companies in our field, the landscape has been especially demanding. While I couldn’t always be present as I’d hoped, these challenges have revealed the strength of a team, the loyalty of those who stand by you, and the power of shared purpose. To everyone climbing their own mountains, in health, life, or business: keep moving, one deliberate step at a time. True strength is built not at the summit, but in every step taken along the way.
