Mama's Chicken in the Oven: 8-12 pieces of Chicken 1 lg. onion chopped 1 lg. bell pepper chopped 2 cans cream of mushroom soup Juice of 2 lemons 1-2 Tbsps. dried parsley flakes Butter (about 1/2 stick) Salt and pepper to taste Remove skin from chicken then salt and pepper. Place in 9x13 baking dish. Squeeze lemon over chicken then dot with butter. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30min. While that is cooking, Saute onion and bell pepper in butter, then add parsley flakes. Add cream of mushroom soup and stir until it gets hot. Set aside. Remove chicken from oven and pour juice from chicken into the mushroom soup mixture and stir together. Turn chicken pieces over and pour mixture over chicken. Continue cooking for 30 min uncovered until gravy thickens and browns on top. Serve with rice. The gravy is wonderful over the rice!

Fancy - Balsamic vinegar and whiskey steak marinade: Marinade: 1 part Balsamic Vinegar 1 part Whiskey... Fill a 1 - 1/2 oz shot glass with 1 part vinegar to 1 part whiskey. This will be enough marinade for two steaks.. Marinate your steaks for 30 min to an hour and grill! Bon Appetit!
