The Day Coat is an easy pattern, perfect for the beginner looking to advance their skills or the advanced knitter looking for some good mindless knitting. This pattern calls for approximately 539yds/492m of a chunky yarn. I used Cadena l by Illimani Yarn a gorgeous alpaca/merino blend with a beautiful drape. Using #19 US (16mm) needles this works up quickly. Pattern currently available in Dutch, English, Italian & Spanish Pattern is an automatic download. Please note if you purchased this pattern before 11-17-16 I added information about the gauge to the Enlish pattern and am working on the other language versions. The information I added is the gauge after blocking is: 6 sts x 9 rows = 4"/10cm (actual gauge is: 5.81 sts x 9 rows = 4"/10cm or 1.45 sts to the inch)
