Polski: Wraz z zamkiem wytrzymały potężne oblężenie miasta przez wojska węgierskie w 1488 roku i ataki artyleryjskie Wojny Trzydziestoletniej. Szczęśliwie zachowały się do dziś, dając świadectwo dawnej sztuce militarnej. Dziś mają około 700 lat i są jednym z najcenniejszych zabytków Szprotawy. Świadczą o dawnej potędze gospodarczej i sile fortecznej miasta. Nadają centrum Szprotawy hipnotyzujący średniowieczny klimat.
English: Together with the castle, they withstood the massive siege of the city by the Hungarian army in 1488 and the artillery attacks of the Thirty Years War. Fortunately, they have survived to this day, bearing witness to the ancient military art. Today, they are about 700 years old and are one of the most valuable monuments of Szprotawa. They testify to the city's former economic power and fortress. They give the center of Szprotawa a mesmerizing medieval atmosphere. |
