My Versa 4 turned black. I have charged it all day. Tried the gold the button. As it starts to move, the screen flashes the fitbit logo for a few seconds then the red X pops up. But it won't turn on.
My phone asks to set it up, but when I get to that point where I need to put the code in, there is no code because the screen is black.
What do I do?

Hi there, @CoachPla20. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 4 is not working anymore. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
Since your Versa 4 is still stuck on the red X, please confirm that you've tried the factory reset as follows: Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off and vibrates. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then immediately press and hold the button again. Wait for the Fitbit logo to appear, then as soon as the logo disappears, release the button, then press and hold the button again. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then wait for the watch to complete the factory reset.

Yes the problem is still there. I get a buzz, fitbit symbol flashes, then big red X. Then it's a completely black screen again.

I have a similar problem. I just bought a new Versa 4 to replace my Versa 2, however the new Versa 4 is stuck on what I assume is the activation screen. It starts with language selection, i.e. English, Deutsch, etc. Scrolling down, there are instructions on getting started, downloading the Fitbit app, creating account, and so on. I already have an account and just want to replace the Versa 2 with the Versa 4. I have tried turning off my phone (iPhone 12 Pro), deleting the Fitbit app and reinstalling, and doing a factory reset on the Versa 4, but nothing happens. Do I need to throw it away and get an Apple watch?
