T life app sucks
I have had tmobile home internet for 4 days now and so far the service is great compared to what i had before my issue is with the app not being dependable to actually manage my wifi it will say server issues or the router needs restarting while all my devices are working fine with a good internet conection and as of today its started showing like 15 devices connected to my wifi when in reality its more like 8 im seeing device names repeated phones and tablets showing as having ethernet connections some "devices" are just what appear to be ip addresses? Hi all. Ive had a $15 T-Mobile Connect plan for years. Has 5GB data that now says "UNLIMITED" instead of 5GB. I wondered why. Looked it up and found out something started in 2021 where T-Mobile is giving the gift of unlimited, "unlimited data for existing customers" "Beginning April 18, 2021 most customers will automatically get unlimited high-speed smartphone data at no additional cost on all current lines." I fit all eligibility i thought, so figured that was it! OR they were rolling this deal out again, or maybe unlimited til end of the month as a holiday perk. But that was not the case apparently. I used up ALL my 5GB data on a video call to see what would happen and sure enough my data shut off completely. I feel like i was fooled. I've used email to ##########@tmomail.net to sent text messages to my T-mobile number for YEARS. It began to fail intermittently around 15-Nov-2024, then completely today 14-Dec-2024. I did not investigate the problem before today. As of right now, it appears the tmomail.net address no longer has an IP number! ping tmomail.net Ping request could not find host tmomail.net. Please check the name and try again. I verified this no-number state with Comcast DNS, Google DNS, Level3.net DNS, and even 1.1.1.1 DNS. This is not the Google email-to-SMS problem that many others have reported as I send the emails via Comcast SMTP. All of the failures are documented by mailer-daemon@comcast.net This is rather crappy treatment of T-Mobile customers. If you want to discontinue a service that we use, let us know. For an email-to-SMS service, maybe send us a text? Let us know what you're offering instead? Does anyone know what could be the problem? I ordered the phone online went through the whole process until right when I clicked the last order and proceed it sent some error message saying something was wrong with my application but yet my money was taken from me and I haven't gotten my phone. I live in Albuquerque and phone/internet service has been greatly impacted due to tower damage for two weeks now. NO ONE at T mobile can give an approximate time when fully restored. I work at home and this is unacceptable. Worse than Xfinity. Customers need to know when considering T mobile that this happens and to expect no answers. I've been trying to join T-mobile Money and cannot. Only the people that have already joined get to have a T-mobile Money account. I called them multiple times and all I keep getting told by the representatives is that there are no new sign ups and that there is no word on when T-mobile will start allowing new sign ups again. That's crap. Syncup watch wont fully pair.
I just unboxed a new watch and was able to figure out how to connect the watch my my phone / T-Life app. Keep in mine my phone is also brand new. I was able to get the watch connected to my app and get it somewhat set up. But then the issue start from there. It won't let me make any update to the profile. And it just some how reboots it's self and completely unfair it's self from my phone and app. I did reach out to the support line but they never reached back out to me.
