When I first came across the Faux Chenille Baby Blanket tutorial on MADE, I knew I wanted to try it. It looked so cool! So I waited for the perfect opportunity to come along. Because heaven knows I don't have time to tackle another project "just because". This past week I was finally able to give it a go. A friend of mine had her first baby recently. Chenille-It l Nannette Holmberg on Instagram: "The final step: the BEST step!   Your Chenille-It binding has been stitched to both the front and the back, and now it’s time to wash.   A few things to remember:   -If you don’t have an agitating washing machine, be sure to add a few towels or an old pair of sneakers to help loosen and break up the fibers. Agitation is KEY!  -Wash on a regular, cold water cycle. If you are using a darker Chenille-It color, add a couple of Color Catchers just to be safe. They can be found on the detergent aisle at your grocery store.  -Dry on medium heat until completely dry.  -Enjoy that cozy texture and beautiful finish!
