Daisy crochet stitch

This is a classic crochet Harlequin stitch. A sister to Catherine’s Wheel stitch and Starburst stitch. I find it to be the simpler of the two, but that might be just me.

This is a free pattern for the crochet simple daisy stitch. This stitch is also known as the simple star stitch, but seeing that this is a daisy farm and all, well you can guess my preference for the name. I've also seen variations of this stitch called marguerite stitch.

How to Crochet Star Stitch: Crochet Star Stitch Free Pattern

Sometimes this is known as elongated single crochet. Make a chain of any number, in the second chain from the hook, insert your hook and pull up a loop. Yarn over once, and pull through only the first loop on your hook. Yarn over again, and pull through all remaining loops, stitch completed. ❤
