Ecpat Sweden is a children’s rights organisation working to combat the sexual exploitation of children. We do this in several ways.
We disseminate knowledge and take measures to prevent children and young people from being sexually abused. We conduct awareness-raising efforts as well as advocacy work directed at those in power. In addition, we strive to cooperate with public authorities, businesses, and other organisations.
Ecpat Sweden is a child rights organization working to combat the sexual exploitation and abuse of children. Ecpat Sweden runs the Ecpat Hotline, a website that gives the public an opportunity to anonymously report suspicions of child sexual abuse and exploitation via a webform. Ditt Ecpat is a dedicated helpline for children and young people under the age of 18 and Ecpat Vuxenstöd (Ecpat Adult Support) offers information and advice for adults on how to talk to children about online and offline risks – and what to do if something has happened.
As a children’s rights organisation, the participation of children and young people in our work is essential. This involvement helps us to better support them by strengthening our knowledge and improving our methods and practice.
Ecpat Sweden is a member of Ecpat International, the only global network of organisations exclusively dedicated to ending child sexual exploitation.
