Signing your name
editHi Larry gerndt, and thanks for your contributions to Fallen angel! Just thought I'd drop you a friendly note to let you know that you don't need to sign your name on articles - the history function will record your contributions. The idea with articles is that "edits to articles should not be signed, as signatures on Wikipedia are not intended to indicate ownership or authorship of any Wikipedia article." However, signing your name on talk pages (like this one) is recommended, because for discussion-type pages it is important to be able to attach each comment to a particular user. You can read the policy for more information.
Hope this is helpful. As theblueflamingo said already, welcome! ― GrimRevenant 11:16, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
