Walter A. Mcdaniel is an American comic book writer, penciler and editor who has contributed as main penciler for such titles as Deadpool, Deathlock, Spider-man, and Captain America.

He was born in the St. Thomas Virgin Islands and grew up at West Harlem of New York City. Following his education at the School of Virtual Arts, he helped Hasbro to rejuvenate the GI Joe toys and the Transformers, and later went on to work with Marvel Comic, DC Comics, and Image Comics.

After over 10 years of work at major comic book publishers, he moved to Hong Kong and China to start his own independent projects.

He currently holds the license for Mortal Combat comics (perception series 2007) as well as his own intellectual property such as Kodai Djinns and Space Racers for film television, video games and product.
