Date of birth?

I undid an uncited edit under Personal Life that stated she was born in 1978 as Joyce Houseknecht. This conflicts with the stated date of birth being in 1985.

However some research shows that according to her official biography she won the Miss New Jersey Teen USA pageant, which Joyce Houseknecht won in 1995, and according to the list in Wikipedia a winner by the name of Katrina Law is not listed, so presumably her name has changed. A birth year of 1978 would be appropriate for a 1995 winner. However, I have not been able to find any reliable citation as to a proper birth date. I just saw this too. If we don't have a citation for something we have to take the year out. In 1995 she would have been 10 and thus not a teenager yet. I say keep the year out. 161.185.161.76 (talk) 20:13, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The video of the delegate introduction of Miss Teen USA 1995 is available on YouTube. Joyce Houseknecht is at the 3:19 mark at the following link [1] , who looks a lot like Katrina. That being said, delegates are required to be between the ages of 14 and 19 in order to compete, putting her birth year somewhere between 1976 and 1981 (give or take). What we're discussing amounts to original research, which is a violation of Wikipedia policy. Until such time that there is a reliable third party source on the matter, this content will need to be removed. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 21:03, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life

The first section reads "Law's mother is Taiwanese and her Law worked alongside director Adrian Picardi with producers Eric Ro and Don Le, to create a low budget web series called The Resistance.[1]"

Is this a typo? Law's mother is Taiwanese and her Law worked... This doesn't seem to make sense to me. Maybe I'm brain farting right now, but it seems that the first sentence was accidentally cut off by the second sentence which starts with "Law worked alongside director..." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Foohy46 (talkcontribs) 17:37, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Opening Paragraph

The opening paragraph also doesn't seem to make sense. It currently reads "Katrina Law is an American actress. (a slave in the house of Batiatus) in the Starz television series..."

I believe the period should be replaced by a comma. Also, the parentheses should probably be removed and read something like this: "Katrina Law is an American actress, known for her role as Mira, a slave in the house of Batiatus, in the Starz television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Vengeance."
