Screw Pine
Is "screw pine" really the common name of the Pandanus in Australia ? Does anyone call it that? It seems to be the common name in the United States. The common name of this plant in Australia would appear to be "pandanus palm" ( even though it is not actually a palm )Eregli bob (talk) 18:46, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Hi, I called it Screw Pine in the article as it sounded more catchy and interesting than Pandanus Palm. Of course you are welcome to change it to whatever you like. I had a great time up in the mid north coast sub-tropical rainforests recently. Despite the difficulty, my tree identification in the field was pretty good.
