My Army Career spanned from Vietnam through Desert Storm, and I've waited a long time for something like this to come along as an attempt at presenting the historical facts - as against opinion and conjecture - for this war. I have personal access to a lot of research material on the subjects presented here.)

- Foster2008 (talk · contribs) (Grandfather served in the New Guinea and Philippines campaigns, was the first medic to enter Santo Thomas Concentration Camp and operated on Hideki Tojo after his self-inflicted gunshot wound, and won a Bronze Star. Great Uncle was Chief Executive Officer on Fletcher-class destroyer, won major award for sinking I.J.N. submarine. Another Great Uncle was the rear gunner on a Helldiver, my great-Grandmother was in the WACS, and my other great Grandfather. . . was a ships clerk on a trip that circulated from New York to Trinidad and Tobago. They can't all be heroes.)
