Many many MANY times when God reveals something to you, whether through a dream, a spoken word (prophecy), or in His Word, it’s not for you to let everyone in on it. There are times when God wants you to share it and then there are other times when God wants it kept between you and Him as He develops that very thing. God doesn’t want you to be secretive but He is also aware that not everyone is going to understand what He has placed on the inside of you and/or shown you.
