John Burroughs Middle School and Gifted Magnet is the 2012 Local District 3 Academic Pentathlon winner! The third annual competition, patterned after the Academic Decathlon, consisted of 12 standard based questions in academic prowess, scholastic excellence and pop culture. Congratulations to Danely Espinoza Amaya, Sheila Milon, Miranda Rector and Khoa Tran, as well as the coaches Ms. Beneke, Ms. Kinney, Mrs. Maye, Mr. Mitchell, and Mr. Swanson!
