This was one of my favorite projects to do. I did it with all my classes, including the little 4-6 year olds and the adults. All had success and went home proud! This lesson incorporates line drawing and value. Our inspiration came from the children's book illustrator, Catherine Rayner, who creates magical watercolor illustrations of animals.
