Father abraham

Abraham, who is said to be the founder of Judaism. The role that Abraham played in is rediscovery of monotheism, in one God. Before, he was known as Abram with his wife, Sarah, and one day, God called on Abram to move to Canaan. God and Abram made a covenant that when Abram moves to Canaan, his descendants would have the land. After this, God gave him the name of Abraham.

Abram rejected the idolatry so prevalent in Ur. And like in this modern day...there are many forms of idolatry that we must be very aware of and stay clear of.
