This is one of those projects where you are so focused on the actual prop or backdrop that you tend to forget the boring parts like the back . Not only have we used a variety of interesting items to prop up our boards, but we have shown up at events where clients have made their own and forgot about the “needing to to stand” part, and we’ve had to get really creative. . That’s when we decided to find a stand that anyone could use, could be stored flat and would be light weight. . That’s where our these cardboard stands come in! . Cherrelle on Instagram: "I wanted a grand welcome sign for my wedding so I DIY’d my wedding welcome sign. I also love crafting and wanted to save some money. This is a short recap of the process. It took me about 3 months to make the sign. I didn’t work on it everyday, maybe 5-6 times a month. You could probably do it much faster if you work on it consistently. I had a lot of fun creating this. I used insulation foam board, paint, nail glue and 2x4 wood/lumbar from @homedepot and my @cricut machine I specifically purchased for this project and one other. I plan to share a longer version of the video that provides more details. I got the idea of using foam board and making the sign from @kaylasimonehome 🫶🏾 thank you girl!
