Korean food products

My parents owned and operated a Korean grocery store (for over 35 years) so I pretty much had my pick at anything I wanted when I visited. I was literally a kid in a candy store and loved it — although it was shrimp chips, not candy, that I was after. I won’t tell you how many bags of these chips my brother, sister, and I devoured when we were kids. When I was younger I hated the smells of the store — of the fish, kimchi, and garlic.

If you’re looking for some freaking DELICIOUS cheese treokbokki with a slight spicy kick I’d highly recommend this to literally EVERYONE. I recommend them for two people (like how the packet comes with two forks), but if you’re me and lack self control with delicious food- you can have it for yourself. I made them in a pot with the powder and rice cakes and reduced the thickness to my liking (I usually like the sauce very gooey so it took me a while but was very worth it).
