The shallow space between our eyes and the ground is a haven of interesting textures, colors, and aromas, especially for plein air painters.

The outside of a residential house has been used as a canvas for the artist's intuitive use of color and mark making. The bright colors painted on the bricks contrast with the natural elements of the garden and appear to join up with the colors of the sky above.
