This is a vintage formal dress from the early 60s. No labels or tags. The bust measures 36", waist 30", see measurements below, but it would look best on a slightly smaller bust & waist. Made of gold lace over a satin underlayer. It is a drop waist dress with bubble hemline. It is sleevless with a wide neckline. The bubble skirt is gathered & lined with pellon for stiffness & fullness. The skirt is trimmed to one side with a swoop of fabric & a gold metallic, fabric rose. Zips in the back with a metal zipper. The dress is in very good condition, no wear or tear. No stains. Shows some light color vriations, but nothing major or detracting. Fabric is rather stiff. Pellon lining of the skirt has tanned with age. Measurements were taken with the garment laying flat & the bust, hip & waist measurements were doubled for the measurements below. If you have never worn vintage before, please measure yourself!! Vintage sizes run smaller than today's sizes, you need to know your measurements!
